With over four decades of experience in the steel erection industry, Ed Smith has built an impressive career as a Foreman, craft educator, and quality control manager. At Flex-Erect, Ed ensures that every project reflects the company’s commitment to excellence, drawing on his extensive background, which includes high-profile projects like the Houston Intercontinental Airport and a 30-story Medical Center building.

When not on the job, Ed enjoys exploring advancements in technology and pursuing his passion for flying. A dedicated family man, Ed cherishes time with his wife and two children, along with their beloved pets, Ruby the dog and Possum the cat. Sundays are reserved for church with his family, followed by a well-deserved afternoon of relaxation to gear up for the week ahead.
