Manuel Aguilar

CFO

Manuel is the fractional CFO for Flex-Erect. His primary focus is guiding Flex-Erect's strategic business growth through financial management and closely aligned accounting processes. 

In addition, M. Alexander founded ALX Financial, an intuitive platform designed to analyze small business financial data and display it in a fluid and innovative way that helps owners understand financial metrics like never before, and Comal Creek Capital, a nano-venture fund that is a resource partner to business owners via minority investment positions. 

Manuel Aguilar was previously Partner as SVP of Turris Group, Inc, a Business a boutique Investment Banking Firm assisting with Private Equity and Venture Capital Investments, primarily focusing on Sell-side engagements.  

Among many other achievements, M. Alexander has personally served 1000+ small businesses as a National Lead Faculty for Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses and in Houston, as the Lead Faculty for 8 years.10KSB is a strategic growth-focused program with 14000+ graduates that provides scholarships to small businesses that are primed for growth and scalability, however, need the proper guidance to do so. He was a Spanish language curriculum developer for BakerRipley Emprendedores, a start-up and early-stage program for underserved Spanish language stakeholders, and Founder and Immediate Past Chairman of Graduate Growth Group, a 501(3)c whose mission is the Development of Graduate Level Professionals and Business Owners to drive growth and economic impact for them and the communities that depend on them. 

In addition, Manuel Aguilar has also previously served as Commercial Lending and Small Business Vice President for Oasis Bank, SSB, a locally chartered de novo bank in Houston’s own East End area, which served the local Latino under-banked and under-served community. As a Community Re-Investment Officer, he was a member of the CRA Council of Houston with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.  Manuel’s professional banking career also includes BBVA Laredo National Bank, Bank of Texas, Chase Bank, and Texas Commerce Bank. 

As an entrepreneur CEO, Manuel Aguilar’s field of experience also spans finance, public sector construction, and transportation logistics, among others. His strategic partnerships include private companies in downstream O&G to tech startups. His expertise includes Small Business/Commercial Lending, Healthcare Software, Business Ownership, and Non-Profits. 

He is a proud husband of 18 years to Dr. Ana Aguilar and Father to magnet school daughters Sophia and Emily.
